Sure, we all know it's difficult to see the impact of the choices you make immediately. But there is one tiny effort we can make that will have a huge impact on the health of our earth. Making the choice to eliminate plastic bags from every day use can make a huge difference as well as using organic and recycled materials as often as possible.
OUR TOTES
Plastic bags are passé. Earth Cadets tote bags are practical in all applications, shopping, the grocery store, picnicking, spy adventures... if you need to carry it, an Earth Cadets tote is here to help.
Our mission is to provide every Earth Cadet with their own uniquely designed and hand screen printed tote bag made entirely out of recycled materials.
Earth Cadets totes are made from 80% Ecotec™ - a blended cotton yarn produced from the excess fabric of newly made clothing - and 20% Bottle Bag material - material made from 100% recycled soda bottles. This unique manufacturing process saves land, energy and water.
So when they ask paper or plastic, just raise the tote high. You're a champion for the environment, an Earth Cadet.
OUR TEES
All Earth Cadets clothing is 100% organic cotton. You will not only look and feel great sporting our hand printed designs, but being organic cotton you are one sharp looking Earth Cadet.
What is so great about organic cotton?
The term organic describes a method of farming without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides or fertilizers, sewage sludge, irradiation or genetic engineering, and are certified by an accredited independent organization. It is a system of farming that strives for a balance with nature, using methods and materials that are of low impact to the environment (Source: Organic Trade Association, 2008)
OUR PILLOWS
Combining passion for the environment with a geeky enthusiasm for estate and garage sale finds we have collected a great deal of fabric. Repurposing the fabric into “charmingly” shaped pillows with our hand-printed fabric brings a dash of whimsy and style to any room in the house. Also you and your house can feel good about reusing a product rather than consuming something new. Lookin’ good, EC, lookin’ good.

100% organic flour sack towels: great for house warming gifts or adding some spice to that towel rack. Our towels can easily be washed and used again and again and are a great substitute for using paper towels!
