After some post holiday window shopping, cause who has benjamins for any other kind min-January? I was perusing the green thinking books at my local book store and flipped one over and was presented with an innovative tip... when at the ATM, bypass receiving a receipt. According to The Green Book, those slips of paper create a huge litter problem. The authors say that if everyone in the U.S. were to stop taking ATM receipts for a year, we would save a roll of paper long enough to circle the equator more than a dozen times.
Ahmazing. And I am not sure why I never thought about it before. No more receipts for yours truly!
